Ok, so work sucks. Well not sucks per se, but rather blows like a cheap whore.It has to be the most boring job in the world! I just stand there for the last hour of my shift cause there is nothing to do. I have how ever had loads of time to catch up on my tabloid reading(yes thats sarcasm). Also there is the issue of them only scheduling me for 20 hours a week. If that keeps up I am going to need to go get a second job. I have tried to explain to my bosses that I am 26 and have an ass-load of bills that HAVE to be paid
but apparently 16 year olds with there need to save up for collage or a computer are waaaaaay more important and need 35+ hours a week. Bastards. Anyhow, money matters aside, things are well. Marvin wrote a great drabble for me on his lunch break today. Go look at his LJ if you haven't already. It made me happy. Ok fuck it, I have no more to say ;) |

| Thanksgiving, new job, and such |

I know it's a little late but Thanksgiving went well. Managed to not get into any arguments with either mine or Marvins family. Things actually went well at Marvins parents and I am so, sooooo thankful for that! Not getting my hopes up yet though. I filled out all of my paperwork for the new job today. I go in tomorrow for training. I can't wait for a real paycheck. It will be nice to pay all of my bills on time again, then I can start saving up for a Wii(I WILL play the new Zelda before the new year, I SWEAR it!!!).Things are finally looking up! Well I guess thats all for now. I'll post again in a few days to let anyone interested know how the new job is going. Later! |
